6-12 Months:​

• Discuss the budget and who will be paying for it.
• Choose the kind of wedding you will have. -theme, date, time
• Look and Reserve the Reception location
• Reserve the Wedding Location
• Choose all the Honored Roles. -Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Ring-bearer, Flower girl, Ushers​
• Discuss Guest List with Fiance' and Families. (Remember the more guest the higher the expenses)​
• Discuss Honeymoon and Reservations
• Build a Wedding Folder. Ideas, Budget list, Contracts, Guest list, Stationary. (Folder to come)
• Choose and Purchase Wedding Rings.
• Start looking for wedding dress, veil & accessories, grooms tux and attire for attendance
• Start customizing and looking for invitations.
• Send out "Save the Date" cards
• Pick your Photographer, Florist, DJ, and Caterer.
• Sign up for gift and honeymoon registry.



4-5 Months: 

• Place wedding announcements in the local newspaper
• Order wedding stationary (invitations, envelopes, and programs)
• Start shopping for Bridal Party attire
• Book limo/ transportation
• Finalize florist arrangements
• Select Wedding Cake
• Start Choosing wedding decorations
• Decide on Wedding Favors
• Finalize guest list
• Set Time, Date, and Location for Wedding Rehearsal Dinner
• Arrange accommodations for out of town guest
• Select and Book Honeymoon Night suite



2-3 Months: 

• Order your Wedding Cake
• Get the cake knife, guestbook, garter, toasting glasses and all the little extras.
• ​Choose gifts for the bridal party, parents, and special loved ones.
• ​Send out the formal invitations​
• Customize your own vows and ceremony
• Check Marriage licence requirements
• Plan Ceremony, Reception, Menu and Music.
• Do a trial make-up and hair Day.
• Plan Seating
• Put together a "day of" schedule
• Get your "Change Your Name Kit"​
